Fashionably Problematic: Learning Resources Mathlink Cubes

1 , 2 , 3 …

Aromatherapy, aftermath, mathematics . Some words pertaining with the word math in it. But what is math? Math comes from everything we do everything around us. There’s no way to tell who invented it but it had to have been started during prehistoric times.

One of my least favorite subjects in school but realizing it’s so important in our everyday life. Baking, cooking ,measuring adding or subtracting from a single cup? That’s dealing with numbers, decisions. Math helps us have better problem solving skills.

Playing a sport interested in sports. Did you know math is also used. For instance in baseball math is used to find the batting average. Or how about bowling ? In bowling they use math to find how many points were scored in each set or frame

Redecorating remodeling? Everything around us, what we do is mathematics.

School Daze

So many math classes. So many memories.

So many teachings so many cubes. And I am not talking cube squared. I am talking about Mathlink Cubes Early Math Activity Set.

Amazon app Learning Resources Base Ten Blocks Smart Pack, Early Childhood Math Skills, Ages 5+, Multicolor

This is how I remember them. One straight color. Nothing came with but cubes. And not so easy to snap on together. However no complaints because it got the job done.

Class back in session

It’s now May 2021 and Mathlink is getting kids back in session with a whole new look! Adding vibrant colorful clean solid colors to their cube collection! I was so happy for this as I stated it was one solid color when I was in school. Every student had that one solid blue color. Yawn boring ! Also aside from being a influencer brand ambassador, I am a mom and educator.

Now these kids have a reason to lift their heads up off of desks. So many colorful options to choose from why not mix and match and use them all !

Fashionably Problematic Review

I received this product in exchange for a honest review.

As I said before I was raised on having to use these in class specifically math class. I was hyper like a kid in the candy store. When I saw these! One word nostalgia! Such a classic but it definitely deserved a updated look.

I also adore that they come with erudition flash cards to use with the Mathlink cubes. Extra hand on activities always a plus.

Also the way the cubes snap on like Velcro is amazing ! I remember having to use some force to put them together before but now a simple grip snaps them together. I stated before you can also mix and match or keep the solid one colors together .

There’s more than 1,2,3, fashionable stacked colored cubes inside the package. 115 pieces all together. One hundred fifteen times to have fun over and over again. One two three breathe you got this! Learning math can be a bit problematic. Learn your resources. There’s so many options and ways to help your child’s or a child’s education as well playtime. Yay!

Fashionably Problematic: Conair

Good hair , Conair…..

Hair it goes…

Conair needs no introduction as they’re always in transformation.

In 1959 “Lee Rizzuto”started a hair appliance and hair care small business in his parents garage in Queens New York. Throughout the years the company started making progress and in 1968 rolled out with their very own products including hot combs, curling irons and its top of the line pistol grip hair style dryer. With time the company expanded and in 1972 officially became a public company, hello stock exchange!

Hair it is

It’s now April 2021 and Conair is still a powerhouse business and name. Inventing creating and hand lending with styling new looks for its customers. Becoming even more dominant by revamping and reinventing themselves since they have some new looks themselves.

So here it is! One of the new gadgets, the “Smoothwrap Infiniti Pro By Conair”.

XOXOXO

The smoothwrap DOES NOT come with all of the products shown in this video. Again I am a influencer/ brand ambassador.

This is for reviewing purposes only. Complimentary through conair for a honest review. The extra gifts were outstanding and I will solemnly write a piece on those products at another time. Right now we are focusing on the “Smoothwrap Infiniti Pro By Conair”

FP Hair Review

As always we have to keep it Covid friendly. Washed the box, the packages and pieces that comes with. This beauty has a concentrator and diffuser attachment for all your favorite looks.

I was happy to recieve. I started on my son’s hair first. His curls are more defined than mine and I wanted to see how fast I could diffuse his curls. Will this be good for back to school ? Especially in the colder seaons of fall and winter. Those cold days and semiwet hair. My old blow dryer wasn’t supportive to our curl needs.

Before

I immediately started the hypothesis by starting our day wash routine. Showered hair wash and wet ready coat of hair. It was time to smoothly plug in the smoothwrap hairdryer

Personally speaking I wasn’t ready to turn on. I love that it gives three heat options including the cool down button. Also loving the speed controls effect, faster slow down faster! The packaging alone is simply beautiful and the magnetic boxing genius !

After

So is the brand “Conair” Fashionably Problematic? Yes they are !

Conair has been around for drumroll please SIXTY TWO YEARS!

Sixty two years is longer than most marriages nowadays. It makes you think that they’ve probably had to face some challenges throughout the years but overcame those tribulations and prosper for the better as you should too. I have noticed their products from a child to now being a adult as being innovative. As a kid there was one color black. Black brushes flat irons and curling irons. Throughout my hair journey I have seen their products in different designs marble textures and flowers to colors pinks purples etc. I just purchased a black flat iron with iridescent rainbow platting how fashionably cute! Problematic however because I bought the flat iron right after receiving the hairdryer! Visit their site they have cool affordable products.

Conair has been in homes longer than most of the doorknobs on doors. Overall has helped make life easier with their genderless products to help create cater and style their customers needs.

“Hair all about it”

This sleek slick sheer smooth blow dryer is hand held friendly easy to hold on to grip on too. I wouldn’t call it a hairdryer even though it is but it’s more than that. It’s a personalized hairstylist,

You can use it for multiple hairstyles and blowouts. Maintaining those body waves and curls. You can even press a button on it that says “cool”. The cool button is specially designed to hold your look together so bye bye hot and humid hair days.

Take a moment to indulge your hair. Salon at home , spa day at home , hairstylist, not a hairstylist, etc. This one is designed especially for you! Until the next “cool” post read some of my older blog post on https://fashionablyproblematical.fashion.blog/blog/

Fashionably Problematic: Price Chopper/Market 32 ….

“I always make a list before I go to the grocery store. Sometimes I even remember to bring it with me”

Down Memory Lane …

Before there was a thought of shopping carts grocery stores and massive chains, there were small stores stocked with limited items. As for cash registers and being ranged up this was still a task as long as you had a good memory or a good shopping list because back before the first grocery store in the mid 1900s. In the eighteenth century you would give someone your list and they would get the items for you.

Increasingly in the late 18th early 19th century small grocers came about. Not grocery stores! Grocers . A grocer is defined to be a person who sells food and small household goods. You would see a few of these small businesses grouped together with different items like a flea market. Shoppers at this time didn’t have to choose to wear face masks and were able to shop for household and overall basic needs , wants freely.

The Start Up…

September 11, 1916. The first grocery store to be established, founded by Clarence Saunders in Memphis Tennessee called “ Piggly Wiggly”.

Fast forwarding to a few years later. 1973 in Schenectady NY a man named Joseph Grosberg and two cousins by the names of William and Bernard Golub founded their own grocery store. They denoted their grocery store to be named “Price Chopper”.

Price chopper is a family friendly super market that came upon and strategically planned to be a revolutionary self serviced supermarket.

FP Price Chopper/ Market 32 REVIEW

I’ve always been a family friend to the Price Chopper chain stores. As a kid watching my parents shop there with me any my siblings. Sometimes me and my brothers not attending but being called out, honks from the car.Rushing and throwing on whatever we could to help carry those tan, white and blue plastic bags. We would be excited to help put away or wait for the groceries to be put away to investigate what was all there. Checking, looking to see if the mission of getting what we wanted was completed.

Of course I love this brand! Their store distance isn’t to far out, products always in stock, bakery department, yum! Don’t feel like cooking? HA! They have cooked hot and cold meals to go. I always have a appetite for their classic shrimp and fries or fish with chips. But what really is it that draws you back into their stores? Two words that make a huge impact. Customer service.

I’ve shopped at a lot of stores. Been inside them too. Wandering and wondering. Not only does this store care about how it looks “cleanliness next to godliness”. But they also care about their customers geniunely asking if you’re finding everything okay or the smiling when a customer is asking for help. They also like to reach out to their best active shoppers for input on how to be better than before. Guess the saying “the customer is always right” is indeed true.

So when the market decided to reach out to me for my thoughts and opinions for their online focus group I was more than eager to participate in such a conducting hypothesis.

Price Chopper/ Market 32 email of gratitude.

Their customer service is so good that they have a advantage loyalty card! This card has helped me and mine during these hard times. When you buy groceries you get points added to your membership. The more points accumulated the higher your reward! Like totally, sweeeeet! And the coolest part about it all is that you get the option of saving money on your next grocery run or gas stop. Some areas in the NY state have partnered with several Sunoco’s.

Price chop with the advantage loyalty card.

Price Chopper Market 32 whatever name you choose to call it just know that this store is totally Fashionably Problematic. Problematic with stolen carts left on sides of roads to its name change, which one do I name it?! Fashionable with a new look , stocked shelves and providing self check out as well as loyalty to it’s customers.

The next time you decide to shop. Make sure you don’t think how to chop the price when on your way to Price Chopper Market 32. They’ve got your back.

FASHIONABLY PROBLEMATIC REVIEW- Valentino:Donna Born In Roma Yellow Dream …

Born in yellow drip. Found in yellow drops …

Valentino The Brand

An icon, a legend. A man and brand that needs no introduction. With a boldface last name that resembles to valentine and Valentine’s Day. Bold red dresses that’d grasp and make the heart of any fashionista stop! Being the son to a electrical supply store owner. Maybe that’s what sparked him? Valentino Garavani started the brand “ Valentino” from the love of fashion and art as a kid .

Training to apprenticing. He completed his studies and shortly after returned home to Italy to start his own brand and line in Rome. The saying a man with dreams needs a woman with vision must’ve been true because the year later love was in the air when he met “ Giancarlo Giammeti” in Rome. A beginning that would be a everlasting future.

With over 45 years of designing styling profiling and staging Valentino fully retire after the couture show in Paris at the Rodin Museum January of 2008.

What smells so good ?

With a resume that’ll make you look twice at your very own. Not only is Valentino Garavani a mogul fashion brand with fashion he’s also intertwined with personal care and cosmetics. Creating omg what smell so good fragrances! With collaborations with the worlds largest company in the fragrance industry “Givaduan” and designs from “Pierre Dinard”. Overall the luxury brand has 41 total fragrances.

Donna Born In Roma Yellow Dream

Bright yellow extracts and inspirations from Roman architecture. This fragrance has just launched this year 2021. Donna born in yellow dream is a floral scent with hints of white musk vanilla bourbon and lemon. The aromas are a lift of the romantic golden glow of rome.

FP Donna Born In Roma Yellow Dream Review…

As I have stated in other blog posts I will state here to that I am no expertise. I am a influencer, brand ambassador. My protocols includes collaborating with brands and reviewing products for consumers, myself and the companies I work with. I received this fragrance complimentary in exchange for a open honest review.

Donna Born in Roma Yellow Dream Eau de Parfum
VALENTINO

Price$100.00–$130.00

I received this product January 4th of 2021. As always for safety precautions I washed the package off for any germs that may have been on there. I opened and wasn’t disappointed with packaging. After opening my eyes were glue to the shimmery glass squares that revolved around the whole bottle. It’s not a facade when saying the bottle resembles the Roman architecture it definitely gave me a feeling of the pope looking out the window before the day starts because when I actually opened it to smell it gave off a beautiful head start to the day. Very therapeutic! I live for vanilla scents my senses immediately inhaled that in. It’s also long lasting and you don’t need that many drip drops of it. One to three light tap sprays on its beautiful sculpted studded top will do.

So all in all after reading on receiving and reviewing is valentino’s donna born in roma yellow dream Fashionably Problematic? Yes indeed ! With Valentino and L’Oreal signing a beauty licensing agreement in 2018. L’Oreal taking over and discounting the original Donna. It’s not exactly the same but voices were heard and listened to with the release of “Donna Born In Roma Yellow Dream”. It even comes in travel size to 100 mg giving you plenty of options to choose from.

My opinion it’s not just for the ladies honestly. Unisex is in the air for all those men with a floral side. I also have mine placed at my vanity for a luxury cool look because the bottle itself is really beautiful to look at. The way the lights bounce off it and reflect to me. Totally worth it! Give your nose a job by letting it sniff something good for the soul.

Until the next blog keep being nosey by reading my previous blog post and make sure you’re subscribed. Thank you.

Fashionably Problematic: Dermalogica Review

“ starting a skin routine and looking for products is like a game of russian roulette”

DERMALOGICA

So you’re probably wondering what is this yet again smart product. Wrong it’s not for your droid or apple phone. It’s designed specifically for you and your facetime. Face it we all in our lives have had ran into some derma skin conditions before black heads acne fine lines and me personally having combination skin oily and dry. Please make it make sense.

I read a few other comments before I decided to post mine. I feel a person may have to have or have to be enduring serious epidermis dermis skin complications. I stated above my skin condition is a combination of skin troubles. Combination skin comes in various different forms for people that have the skin condition like myself. My face can get oily and dry at the same time sometimes more dry than oily. Others days yikes ! You can fry and egg on my face on a hot day ( joke laugh with me but seriously).

On their home site it states “ Weightless water-gel moisturizer hydrates dry, sensitive skin. Refreshing gel formula transforms into a skin-quenching fluid upon application, forming a weightless barrier against environmental assault. Dual Hyaluronic Acid technology works in different skin surface layers to increase and lock in moisture”. – Dermalogica “ https://www.dermalogica.com/products/calm-water-gel”

DERMALOGICA FP Review

Retailing price $50.00 https://www.dermalogica.com/products/calm-water-gel

I know I brought it up before but I want to say it again. I am a influencer/ brand ambassador. I collaborate with brands and companies to make consumers like myself who spend, lives easier with purchasing decisions. I received this product complimentary in exchange for a “honest” review.

Handy dandy opinion

When tracking messaged me stating package sent I immediately opened I was ecstatic. I washed the product for COVID safety. After I washed my hands and face. Waited for my face to air dry to apply. When my face did dry I popped it open again with this time being ready for usage.

When I did open it and examined throughly. I immediately got a pungent smell of a hospital setting with oat and that was okay but it threw me off a tad. For fifty dollars they know what their doing right ? When I applied it to my fingers for usage I was not so pleased with the runny like texture. Also wasn’t pleased with it’s soft but heavy dewy like sticky feeling aftermath. That also did not feel too good. I percieve it to be more for your hands feet maybe legs and the back of arms but for the face for my objectives I wouldn’t recommend. I was so disappointed because gel is the new trend. I personally was looking forward to it. But I am fortunate that I got to be one of the few who did receive for review. Would like to add in I applied it to just one side of my face. I will be using for my feet and would purchase it just for that reasoning only. It’s very soft and feels good on my thick skin.

Keep calm and stay safe.

Fashionably problematic: Basketball And The NBA..

A wintry year in “1891”. It’s getting cold, the weather is holding classes inside and young men need a active inside activity to keep up with while the weather is actively switching during winter months.

“To nothing to something

There are two thousand seven hundred ymca’s today. There are many benefits within with this organization. Not only are they big with contributing and giving back they also serve a purpose. A simple breakdown of who the YMCA is. They stand with youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

One day one YMCA center in Springfield, Massachusetts a educator by the name of “ James Naismith” was asked by the schools superintendent of physical education to create a game to keep young men active during the cold months of winter. Naismith was a teacher at the YMCA training center school. One of his scopes of practice was training adolescent men to become instructors at other YMCA centers. As the saying goes behind every man is a wise of a woman because with the help of his wife and childhood memories of throwing rocks at targets. As he pictured it, his blueprint came upon a game that is adored and loved by millions. Basketball.

It started with two baskets , peach baskets to be exact ten feet high above the ground and a soccer ball! The objective? Workmanship togetherness forming as a team to get the ball into the opposite basket while defending your team’s basket from the opposing team. There were also 13 rules and nine players on each team. But one crucial rule missing the sport being for everybody.

Pinterest.com peach basket

Blacksketball

Forwarding, the year is in the 1940s. A era where professional basketball wasn’t as popular nor as big as baseball, boxing and wow, college basketball. Also a problematic time for the sport. Not just with not being known but also being a time where segregation just like a play was set in place. Melanin poppin people weren’t allowed to go to the same schools, drink out the same fountains or be in the same public places as non colored. Fast forwarding ten years later you hear big black man names breaking barriers in the league like Nat “Sweetwater” Clifton, Charles Henry Cooper, and Earl Lloyd being the first black men to play on a court in the league. Bringing in change, black voices , and knowledge as Earl Lloyd went from playing college basketball, being a assistant coach for the Detroit Pistons, drafted to the military , coming back to the states, playing for nine seasons and retiring. Head up leveling up and becoming the first full time black assistant coach in the league. What a head turner ! Fashionable A S F !

(N)eed (B)lack (A)dmission

Now today you hear names like some of my personal favorites Lebron James, Steph Curry, Russel Westbrook, etc. Not only are they bringing the skills just like the ones before them on the court. They’re also bringing it with making sure black people are being heard and seen. Being knowledgeable with collaborating branding influencing as well starting their own brands. Look at the names mentioned above. They’ve also been eye catching with fashion style creating fashion sense making the National Basketball Administration “Fashionably Problematic”.

Fashionably Problematic”

Before arena fashion it was just athletes pushing cameras out the way just to get in the locker room. Maybe even stopped for a interview just off of name status or how well how terrible played in a game. Or just a simple asking for comment and input by reporters from players.

However now the NBA has altered up, switched up their looks and I am not just talking skin tones. Yes, closets! Who you wearing? When I say black athletes have changed the balling off the courts too , just another reasoning why blacks are needed in the game, they make it look good. We always needed black admission. Just look how Lebron James steps inside the arena to the locker room. Always fashionably ready for whatever being the opposite team or camera ready. Those cameras always cling to him not just to see where his head is at mentally but also what is on his body physically. It influences the younger ones that look up to these men that their is hope, that they can do it too. Fashion is definitely more adored now than ever before.

“Sporting Looks”

Lebron James
Russel Westbrook
James Harden
Dwayne Wade

Win regardless”

The NBA has always been a head downer when your team loses a game, a heads up with keeping fans updated personally loved how they withheld those games in regards to “Jacob Blake”. It’s also a head turner with keeping your head going back and forth. Keeping up with game points and fashion looks. Just like the NBA you too should always dress your best be your best self and slam dunk every goal, every look or on every opponent not wanting to see you ball because ball is life. Right? The NBA is fashionably problematic. Keep it moving and keep it cute because when you don’t you could get called out on a foul that could stir up a technical.
